I am absolutely glad that this center exists here in Worthington,
Minnesota. I strongly believe that it is a wonderful resource for all
women, offering support in many areas. I believe that women who
abort do so mainly because of lack of support and information.
Helping Hand Pregnancy Center has high morals and a strong
belief in the sanctity of all life, which is why it offers so much
support to women, their babies and fathers, too. I feel so very
honored and proud to have been given the opportunity to serve
this establishment in 2004 as an Administrative Assistant that year
when I first arrived from El Paso, Texas.
When I first discovered I was pregnant, I thought that pregnancy
and parenting would be the end of all my hopes and dreams. I
didn't want an abortion but felt like my back was against the wall. I
was terribly upset and worried about everything. My family and
friends told me to do whatever made me the happiest. But when I
came to Helping Hand, they were optimistic, encouraging and they
even prayed with me. They helped me think clearly and make a
plan that wouldn't regret.
